Rivalry Week Spirit Parade @ lunch in the Quad.. Come on out and follow the BAnd, Squads and ASB as we march our Raider Spirit around the quad Chanting "CIHS Fight Raiders Fight"!! as we Begin our Quest for the Cup! The winner of the CI vs Hueneme football game gets to keep the rivalry trophy all year long...we've had it and we want to keep it!!! Come on out and get crazy!!!

Those who played in the HandBall Tournament...We will continue Monday. If you haven't lost twice yet, you're still playing!
Attention All Raiders. It is November and time once again for Geography Bowl! Test your knowledge of geography against other county schools. If you like "Jeopardy" you will love this competition! Individial and team awards. Top team price is a ride in a helicopter courtesy of Aspen Air. Free breakfast/lunch and pizza party afterwards! Competition to be held at Oxnard College November 21 from 7:30AM to 1:00PM. Families welcome to come and witness your success! Please see Mr. Davis, Geography Bowl advisor, Rm#30, either Thursday or Friday, Nov 12-13 for more information. Much to do and a short time to do it so come on by, test your knowledge, meet new people, have some free food, and have some fun!!!

DRIVERS ED. SESSION 2 IS NOW FULL!!!
Students who signed up for Driver's Ed please confirm that your name and student number are on the list outside of P2. This is an 8 week Zero Period class. Session 2 will begin on Monday November 30 @ 7 A.M. !!!

*Attn. Raiders:  The 2010 Raider Yearbook is on sale now.  You must make at least a $25 deposit by January 15 in order to reserve you book.  All books must be paid in full by March 25.

* Jostens will be on campus Wednesday November 18th during lunch for senior / junior ring delivery in the quad

* ATTN Seniors:  The yearbook staff needs your best baby picture for the 2010 Raider Yearbook.  Please submit a baby photo and senior quote to Mr. Collins or any yearbook staff member in rm.96.  The cost is $5. Photos and quotes must be received by December 15th.

Attention Seniors!!!!   Representatives from both the UC’s  and Cal States will be available to assist you with completing your college applications and PERSONAL STATEMENTS!  They will be here  November 18, 2009, from 3:30-6:00 p.m. in Math Lab 2.  Please sign up with Ms. Martinez in the front office. (Space is limited)  Don’t forget to bring a copy of your transcript and rough draft of your personal statement.

*Do you need help with your UC Application or  Personal Statement? Nov. 16, 2009 from 12:20, Rocio Hernandez from UCSB will be on in the College & Career Center to help you with your needs. Need some help? Come into the College & Career Center and sign up for a spot.

*If you have yet to meet the computer literacy graduation requirement, there will be a exam given on Tuesday 11/17 and Thursday 11/19 after school. ***Remember there are 2 ways to meet this graduation requirement: 1. Take a class which meets the requirement or 2. Successfully complete the computer literacy exam.*** If interested sign up with Brianne Martinez in the office. Hurry space is limited!!!

*Attention all 10th,11th,& 12th graders interested in the military branches. On Wednesday, December 2nd, the military will be on campus giving the ASVAB assessment which is a Career Exploration Program. The ASVAB is free and does not obligate the students to enlist in any military service. Please see Mrs. Yslas in the Career Center to sign up.
